Crowning Glory Thoroughbreds, LLC, a Rhode Island limited liability company, was formed on February 1, 2007. The sole owners and managing members are Ernest Barone, and his daughters Cassandra Barone and Stephanie Barone. CGT plans to buy, manage and sell shares in thoroughbreds, as well as to provide acquisition and management services to other owners and partnerships.
CGT purchased its first thoroughbred, Awesome Soup, at the April 2007 Ocala Breeders Sales Company’s two year old in training sale. Sadly she was injured in her first race and has been retired to the breeding pasture.
In the coming months, we will be purchasing thoroughbreds to race within the United States and Canada.
